About the role

  • Own and scale Runna's UK + EMEA partnerships channel, setting regional strategy and targets
  • Develop and execute UK & EMEA partnerships strategy aligned with global growth ambitions
  • Work closely with global teams to ensure consistent, impactful regional approach
  • Identify and target key UK/European partners across events, fitness brands, and tech companies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (events, social, product) to integrate partnerships into races and digital campaigns
  • Secure new high-value UK partnerships and maximise existing relationships (e.g., Lululemon, On, Motive US, major race partners)
  • Lead commercial negotiations to deliver maximum ROI and long-term value
  • Act as key escalation point for UK partners and ensure flawless delivery of partnership activations
  • Manage, mentor, and grow the UK partnerships team (currently 3 members); serve as hiring manager
  • Set strategy, structure, and targets for a more verticalised partnerships model
  • Maintain high standards across delivery, reporting, and partner satisfaction; serve as a culture carrier

Requirements

  • 5+ years of partnerships experience in a commercial role
  • Proven track record managing external/internal stakeholders at a senior level
  • Experience winning, growing, and delivering high-value partnerships
  • Experience managing and scaling a team (must have led 2+ people previously)
  • Strong commercial acumen with confidence leading negotiations and owning P&L
  • Skilled in CRM systems, asset tracking, and data analysis (Google Sheets/Excel)
  • Hands-on leader who is strategic and operational
  • Highly organised, efficient, and able to juggle multiple priorities
  • Strong communicator who can build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders
  • London-based, commuting into the office at least 3 days per week
  • Unable to sponsor work authorization for this role
