About the role

  • Lead Business Development at MILES, focusing on strategic partnerships in mobility. Drive project execution from pilot to scale in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • You will lead high-impact partnerships that expand the MILES ecosystem and create new ways for users to access and use our fleet - from integrating mobility platforms and public transport solutions, to developing collaborations around charging, fueling, parking and vehicle-hub infrastructure.
  • Your focus: translate strategy into execution, steering projects from pilot to scale and ensuring commercial success and operational excellence.
  • You’ll apply structured project management to balance multiple initiatives, prioritize impact, and remove blockers along the way.
  • Build and qualify a partner-sourced pipeline (inbound & outbound).
  • Develop and negotiate LOIs / term-sheets / partnership contracts (German & English C1) including partner fee models, SLAs and commercial structures.
  • Create slim business cases (Base / Bull / Bear) with unit economics, payback periods, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Design and run pilots: set KPIs, manage cross-functional blockers, move to roll out.
  • Manage ongoing partnerships: monitor KPIs (conversion, utilization, SLA), conduct quarterly reviews, identify expansions.
  • Maintain structured documentation in PM-tools or CRM; transparently report progress & risks.

Requirements

  • 4+ years’ experience in Business Development, Strategy, Partnerships or Consulting — ideally in tech/mobility or platform environments.
  • Proven track record of ≥3 partnerships owned end-to-end (contact → contract → pilot → BAU).
  • Negotiation experience in German & English; experience in working cross functionally.
  • Strong commercial modelling and analytical skills: pricing, revenue-share, contribution margin, scenario & sensitivity analysis.
  • Excellent project / portfolio management: able to juggle multiple initiatives, prioritize decisions, manage dependencies & risks.
  • Clear communicator, structured, data-informed, documented outcomes and actions.
  • Nice-to-have Experience with API/SDK or data-feed integrations (steering, not coding).
  • Built reusable playbooks or SOPs for scaling partnerships.
  • Exposure to mobility, public transport, real estate or other location-based services.
  • Basic SQL reading ability or experience with no-code tools for rapid checks.
