About the role

  • HR Specialist at Handicap International managing the integration and skill development of HR Managers. Supporting operational HR strategy and ensuring quality HR management in programs.

Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the operational onboarding and skills development of Programme HR Managers in the field.
  • You support and advise Programme HR Managers in developing the HR elements of the operational strategy, the related HR action plans per program, and the associated KPIs.
  • You ensure the quality of HR management for the programs you oversee.
  • You are a key partner in the development of social missions and are recognized by programs for the value you bring.
  • You coordinate the HR professional network by providing role-specific training, fostering peer-to-peer exchange opportunities, and acting as a coach for all Programme HR Managers you support.
  • You are responsible for deploying and contextualizing institutional HR projects within your scope and for ensuring the correct implementation of HI HR standards.
  • In your role as the HR referent, you are also responsible for checking the quality of HR standards and for carrying out internal control checks during your field visits.

Requirements

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in Human Resources within a global, international organization.
  • You have a solid command of the HR cycle.
  • You are able to draft HR frameworks.
  • You have a good knowledge of technical HR subjects (mastery of salary scales/reviews, career tracking and development, skills development, etc.).
  • You speak English fluently and have a good command of the Office suite.
