About the role

  • At our hotels in Potsdam and Berlin-Dahlem, you create a working environment where people enjoy working, can grow, and feel connected to the company.
  • You act as the central interface between employees, on-site managers and the corporate office.
  • You ensure that all HR processes run smoothly, actively support managers on personnel matters and actively shape the employee experience.
  • You manage the HRIS (Gastromatic) and personnel files, prepare payroll and are the contact person for questions about salary, company pension plans, or employment and social security law matters.
  • From onboarding to offboarding you professionally accompany employees, ensure clear procedures and a respectful experience in all HR-related matters.
  • You manage several vacancies at the same time, select appropriate recruiting channels and oversee the application process from job posting to final decision in close coordination with the relevant departments.
  • You support managers with personnel issues, coordinate absence management and proactively work on optimizations to make our processes and the employee experience efficient and sustainable.
  • You create meaningful HR reports, analyze key metrics and prepare decision-making materials for senior management.
  • The position is structured as hybrid: you will work partly from home and travel regularly to our hotels in Potsdam and Berlin-Dahlem to support the on-site teams.

Requirements

  • You have a commercial apprenticeship with an additional HR qualification, or a business degree with a specialization in HR or personnel management.
  • You bring several years of experience as an HR Generalist or Manager People & Operations, including recruiting and conducting interviews.
  • Experience in hospitality, gastronomy or tourism is a strong plus.
  • You have sound knowledge of employment, tax and social security law, stay up to date and follow current developments with enthusiasm.
  • Empathy and integrity are among your outstanding strengths. You act authentically, responsibly and with a foundation of trust.
  • Very good German and good English skills.
