About the role

  • Serve as trusted advisor and consultant to designated business units and department leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives.
  • Act as a coach and advisor on talent management, organizational design, team effectiveness, and change management.
  • Drive workforce planning, talent strategies, organizational design, and stakeholder guidance using data-driven insights.
  • Design and implement scalable talent management frameworks including performance, succession, retention; partner with Talent Acquisition for high-volume hiring and onboarding.
  • Lead succession planning, performance management, career development, talent reviews, and developmental plans for technical and clinical staff.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for employee relations issues and ensure compliance with employment laws across jurisdictions.
  • Analyze employee engagement survey data and lead department-specific action plans to foster inclusive culture.
  • Support organizational restructuring, role clarity, capability building, and culture alignment during growth and M&A integration.
  • Support merger/acquisition integration processes by harmonizing policies, aligning cultures, and guiding employee transitions.
  • Partner with managers to assess skills gaps and promote learning and certification programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive HRBP experience with an organization with 800+ employees
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and organizational development
  • Experience with post-merger integration strongly preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience as an HRBP in a healthcare or tech environment preferred
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in HR practices preferred
  • Experience in managing compensation and benefits preferred
  • SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification preferred
  • Willingness to work hybrid/on-site in Houston/Spring, TX as needed
