Define, execute, and continuously optimize the company’s global sales strategy in collaboration with the Chief Business Development Officer and the Board
Build and implement scalable processes, structures, and frameworks to support growth, improve efficiency, and ensure a consistently excellent client experience
Develop and drive sales strategies for major brands, creating bundled offerings across Sofascore’s advertising inventory to maximize value
Oversee Ad Operations performance, including campaign optimization, yield management, and revenue efficiency
Drive alignment and collaboration between sales teams and other departments such as Marketing, Product, and Operations
Monitor, analyze, and report on key sales metrics to ensure performance goals are met or exceeded
Support the professional development of sales leaders through coaching, guidance, and succession planning
Identify new market opportunities and innovative approaches to maximize revenue across all products and regions
Foster a collaborative, results-oriented sales culture focused on sustainable growth and strategic partnerships
Drive revenue by leading teams that sell advertising inventory and deliver impactful campaigns for brands
Support development of strategic partnerships with major sports organizations
Report directly to the Chief Business Development Officer; work primarily with sales leaders to empower and scale teams
Requirements
5+ years of senior sales leadership experience in a global company
Proven experience leading Heads of Departments and Team Leads rather than individual contributors
Strong track record of delivering growth through strategic planning, team leadership, and operational excellence
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to think strategically while staying hands-on when needed
Experience in sports, advertising, or media industries is a strong plus
Comfortable working in a fast-moving, international environment with occasional travel
