About the role

  • Lead and manage all sales teams across Sofascore
  • Define, execute, and continuously optimize the company’s global sales strategy in collaboration with the Chief Business Development Officer and the Board
  • Build and implement scalable processes, structures, and frameworks to support growth, improve efficiency, and ensure a consistently excellent client experience
  • Develop and drive sales strategies for major brands, creating bundled offerings across Sofascore’s advertising inventory to maximize value
  • Oversee Ad Operations performance, including campaign optimization, yield management, and revenue efficiency
  • Drive alignment and collaboration between sales teams and other departments such as Marketing, Product, and Operations
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on key sales metrics to ensure performance goals are met or exceeded
  • Support the professional development of sales leaders through coaching, guidance, and succession planning
  • Identify new market opportunities and innovative approaches to maximize revenue across all products and regions
  • Foster a collaborative, results-oriented sales culture focused on sustainable growth and strategic partnerships
  • Drive revenue by leading teams that sell advertising inventory and deliver impactful campaigns for brands
  • Support development of strategic partnerships with major sports organizations
  • Report directly to the Chief Business Development Officer; work primarily with sales leaders to empower and scale teams

Requirements

  • 5+ years of senior sales leadership experience in a global company
  • Proven experience leading Heads of Departments and Team Leads rather than individual contributors
  • Strong track record of delivering growth through strategic planning, team leadership, and operational excellence
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to think strategically while staying hands-on when needed
  • Experience in sports, advertising, or media industries is a strong plus
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, international environment with occasional travel
