About the role
- Innovation Director leading fragrance strategies and innovations for EU consumer products at Givaudan. Collaborate with teams to execute development strategy and facilitate innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- As Innovation Director for EU Consumer Products Fragrances, you will be the go-to innovation contact in the region.
- Collaborate with the Category Directors to execute the development strategy.
- Infuse an Innovation mindset and ensure Fragrance is at the heart of our Innovation activities.
- Translate macro trends, technologies and consumer needs into olfactive business opportunities.
- Drive and facilitate the cross-category initiatives and the Marketing tools through Digital solutions.
- Act as the interface and facilitator between the Sales, Creation & Development teams and connect with key stakeholders.
- Ensure strategic alignment between all stakeholders at a regional level.
- Implement a clear innovation process to build a portfolio of customer and consumer-relevant innovative olfactive solutions.*
- Coordinate cross-category Innovation projects.
- Infuse an innovation mindset in the organization through sharing sessions, workshops and trainings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 15 years’ cross-functional and cross-cultural experience in the fragrance industry
- Extended global knowledge of the fragrance market and experience in different categories
- Ability to facilitate, create, promote
- Ability to build networks, to achieve results through influence, to work effectively in a matrix environment
- Ability to think strategically and to translate strategies into tangible deliverables
- An appetite for digital solutions
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Project management skills and focus on implementation
- Fluency in English, French recommended
