Responsibilities

  • Build and lead a high‑impact research group
  • Attract, recruit and develop highly specialized talent
  • Establish a culture of excellence, innovation and collaboration
  • Represent the company within 3GPP, IEEE and ITU
  • Lead the drafting and defense of high‑impact technical contributions
  • Develop an influence strategy within working groups
  • Structure an IP strategy aligned with business objectives
  • Generate and protect differentiating innovations (patents)
  • Develop strategic partnerships (academic and industry)
  • Present at international conferences
  • Increase the organization’s visibility and credibility
  • Establish an ambitious roadmap aligned with global trends
  • Identify areas where the organization can create a differentiating advantage

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or PhD in electrical engineering, computer science or a related field
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in the field
  • Proven experience in advanced R&D in wireless telecommunications (5G/6G)
  • Significant contributions to standardization work (3GPP strongly preferred)
  • Demonstrated technical leadership or team management experience
  • Track record of intellectual property contributions (patents, publications)
  • Strategic vision combined with strong hands‑on execution capability
