Director overseeing Global HRIS management of Workday platform for Sysco. Responsible for process efficiency, data integrity, and strategic guidance in HRIS functions.
Responsibilities
Oversee the Global functional and technical management of the Workday system (HR)
Responsible for overall process efficiency, data integrity, and analyzing business opportunities
Provide strategic management and guidance to Global HRIS Managers, SMEs, Business Processes Leaders, and Project Teams
Lead HRIS Team Leaders for functional and analytical support around core HR business processes
Manage and oversee the team performing functional requirements gathering, configuration, and testing of Workday impacts
Involved in mid-to-large-scale Workday system enhancement projects
Work with HR Governance leader on assessing change requests
Partner with COEs to understand business priorities
Ensure system enhancements, processes, and integrations are documented and tested.
Provide project management leadership and communications for projects
Ensure HRIS system has global consistency, stability, and data accuracy
Partner with HR and IT leaders to define HR’s Technology strategy and roadmap
Manage appropriate security within the HRIS team by role assignment
Lead weekly prioritization meetings and measure the effectiveness of solutions.
Requirements
9+ years of experience in a leadership position
7 years leading a team
5+ years understanding of HR and payroll business processes, Workday preferred
Global HRIS implementation experience, Workday preferred
Experience building and delivering complex communication plans across diverse stakeholder groups.
Experience managing global initiatives and navigating ambiguity
Experience building and managing case tool reports/SLAs
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and project management tools
Proven track record of managing cross-functional partnerships
Exceptional people skills with a proven ability to communicate with both technical audience and business users.
Bachelor's degree in related discipline
