About the role

  • Define and execute the global sales strategy to deliver sustainable growth across markets
  • Lead and manage Country Sales Heads and teams, ensuring alignment with international objectives and performance standards
  • Provide strategic direction, coaching, and oversight for pipeline management, forecasting, and sales methodology
  • Serve as executive lead for multinational customers, ensuring seamless engagement and service consistency
  • Anticipate global freight, trade, and digital logistics trends to strengthen competitiveness
  • Own global top-line sales performance and ensure revenue and profit targets are achieved or exceeded
  • Oversee pricing frameworks and commercial models to balance competitiveness, profitability, and scalability
  • Drive operational synergies and resource optimization across countries to maximize efficiency
  • Collaborate with Finance for accurate forecasting, reporting, and P&L accountability
  • Oversee marketing alignment to drive international customer acquisition and retention
  • Strengthen global brand positioning and represent the company at industry forums and trade events
  • Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships and new business opportunities
  • Build and inspire a world-class global sales organization and promote cross-country collaboration
  • Mentor senior leaders and support succession planning
  • Work closely with Operations and Product teams to align sales insights with operational capacity and technology innovation
  • Monitor KPIs including revenue targets, market expansion, customer retention, profitability, and marketing ROI

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Logistics, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 15+ years’ progressive sales leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a global or regional senior sales role within Freight Forwarding, Logistics, or Supply Chain
  • Proven track record of delivering consistent double-digit growth across multiple geographies
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing global sales budgets and P&L accountability
  • Deep knowledge of digital freight platforms and technology-enabled logistics solutions
  • Demonstrated success building and scaling international sales teams
  • Strong knowledge of freight forwarding, logistics, and supply chain management
  • Expertise in digital freight platforms and technology-enabled logistics solutions
  • Proven ability to design and execute global sales strategies across multiple markets
  • Advanced skills in pipeline management, sales forecasting, and revenue reporting
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and deal-closing skills at enterprise/global scale
  • Data-driven decision-making, with proficiency in CRM, analytics, and sales performance tools
