About the role

  • Account Manager for a creative agency managing relationships with clients and projects from planning to execution. Seeking experienced professional in spatial design and event production.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and nurture relationships with key corporate clients, understanding and meeting their objectives.
  • Serve as the main contact for client communication, ensuring clarity and satisfaction.
  • Lead projects from kick-off to delivery, coordinating internal and external stakeholders across multiple disciplines.
  • Oversee full project lifecycles including budgeting, team resourcing, and reporting across accounts.
  • Ensure smooth collaboration between creative, design, and production teams, balancing client needs with project feasibility.
  • Understand architectural drawings and spatial plans (not the design itself).
  • Lead the preparation and execution of pitches and proposals, tailored to client needs.
  • Ensure design feasibility and alignment between creative and production teams.
  • Anticipate risks and proactively solve challenges in timeline, budget, or team capacity.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in account management or project lead roles in event management or brand design.
  • Strong understanding of spatial design/architecture and ability to work closely with design teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading complex projects with multi-million budgets and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent client communication and negotiation skills at all organizational levels.
  • Proven ability to set up and control project structures (timelines, responsibilities, tools) while ensuring quality delivery.
  • Proven experience managing budgets, cashflows, and multi-project accounts.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel in particular); experience with project management tools, CRM, and budget tracking is a plus.
  • Ability to read architectural drawings and extract measurements; experience with software such as AutoCAD, Rhino, or Enscape is valued.
  • Strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hands-on leadership style, able to motivate teams and maintain an overview under pressure.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, solutions-driven approach.
  • Fluent in English; German a strong plus.
