About the role

  • Account Manager driving DC sales strategies at PIMCO, focusing on large plan segments and consultant influence. Collaborating across teams to enhance PIMCO’s market presence in the DC ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute a field consultant coverage strategy
  • Influence DC recommendations by translating PIMCO’s DC platform
  • Partner with Consultant Relations and Institutional Sales account teams
  • Develop a disciplined pipeline across consultant channels
  • Provide market and competitor intelligence on DC consulting dynamics
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Strategy, Portfolio teams, Marketing, and leadership
  • Represent PIMCO at relevant industry events and in targeted consultant forums
  • Travel as needed to support consultant and client engagement

Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree
  • MBA or CFA designation is desirable
  • 10+ years of experience in the institutional DC ecosystem
  • Established relationships and credibility with consultants and DC decision-makers
  • Strong grasp of DC plan structures and investment implementation
  • Track record of building repeatable coverage models
  • Executive presence and the ability to communicate investment solutions clearly
  • Series 3, 7 and 63 required
