About the role

  • Compensation Specialist ensuring pay equity and managing compensation programs for WEX. Supporting HR partners in job architecture, market pricing, and compliance with pay regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution, and management of compensation programs
  • Manage the administration of base salary compensation, job evaluations, market pricing, and salary structure
  • Evaluate internal and external compensation data, ensuring pay equity
  • Advise HR Business Partners on salary administration, job code use, wage-hour issues, and compensation guidelines
  • Partner with Finance and HRBPs to align compensation processes with programs and projects
  • Administer job families, leveling, and salary ranges
  • Ensure compliance with pay regulations and support evolving pay transparency initiatives.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in business, economics, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in compensation
  • Strong fluency in data analysis tools, including proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
  • Experience with compensation survey providers (e.g., Radford, Mercer, WTW) and job leveling methodologies and frameworks
  • Strong Project Management skillset
  • Experience presenting compensation training sessions.
