Responsibilities

  • Preparation of the monthly payroll for wage-earning employees, taking into account the applicable collective bargaining agreement
  • Management and support of an assigned group of employees
  • Recording and maintenance of employee master data and personnel movement records
  • Processing of payroll-related certificates and official documentation
  • Point of contact for employees and managers regarding payroll questions
  • Communication with authorities, social security institutions, and health insurance providers

Requirements

  • Proven experience in payroll accounting is required
  • Good knowledge of tax law, collective bargaining/tariff law, and social security law
  • Strong communication skills and discretion when handling sensitive data
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken
