About the role

  • Junior Commercial Executive responsible for client retention and prospecting in domestic cargo market. Collaborating with various internal areas to achieve monthly goals and improve revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Act strategically to ensure retention of major accounts and to prospect new clients in the domestic cargo market, aiming to meet monthly targets with the franchise network and increase the area's revenue.
  • Manage the sales cycle for new clients, from prospecting to closing, maintaining strong relationships and cross-functional collaboration with internal company departments.
  • Using effective sales strategies, identify and prospect new clients and support them during the start of operations by working cross-functionally with other company areas.
  • Hold regular meetings with key account clients to ensure demand retention and to pursue new opportunities.
  • Facilitate proactive meetings between clients and operational teams to align processes.
  • Present monthly results and a macro-level analysis to coordination, management, and the executive board.
  • Monitor commercial performance with franchises and key account clients to achieve monthly targets.
  • Enter and renew commercial terms (rates) in the system.
  • Stay up to date on the domestic cargo market as well as competitor activity.
  • Participate in bids and follow up through all stages of the sales funnel until deal closing.
  • Attend trade shows and events for prospecting and client relationship building.
  • Engage and strengthen relationships with clients through meetings, calls, emails, and messages.
  • Prepare and present action plans in cases of client dissatisfaction.
  • Update clients on rates, flight network, new products, and any changes or innovations affecting commercial relationships.
  • Ensure and analyze the profitability of all commercial negotiations.
  • Be familiar with commercial, operational, and safety guidelines and policies, as well as Gollog products, supporting materials, and other information relevant to the role.
  • Develop and enhance sales in collaboration with the franchise network and market team.
  • Report issues, challenges, and opportunities to the administrative/operational base teams and suggest solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (completed)
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Availability to travel
  • Valid driver's license (category B) and own vehicle
  • Knowledge of the domestic cargo market
  • Experience in cargo sales (freight profile)
  • Basic financial knowledge
  • Basic understanding of legal and contractual aspects
  • Experience in prospecting
  • Experience in commercial/sales activities
  • Knowledge of negotiation techniques
