Responsibilities
Owning and scaling the Sports vertical across Europe, working directly with executives at sports clubs, leagues, tournaments and other sports-focused events
Playing an active role in key deals, including deal strategy, executive alignment, and closing
Leading by example, as well as coaching and developing a team of Account Executives, with a strong emphasis on performance, accountability, and progression
Partnering closely with the Head of Business Development to transition and develop BDRs into successful AEs, including enablement, ramp plans, and ongoing coaching
Defining and executing the sales strategy for the Sports vertical, in collaboration with GTM, Sales and executive leadership
Driving forecasting accuracy, pipeline health, and revenue predictability through disciplined use of data and metrics
Developing and maintaining deep knowledge of the sports ecosystem, including upcoming tournaments, events, trends, and market dynamics
Traveling as needed to support customers, team development, and industry engagement
Requirements
3+ years of leadership experience scaling sales teams (in Sports, Ticketing, or SaaS)
5+ years of experience in active full-cycle sales roles
A proactive, hands-on approach
Proficiency in forecasting and pipeline management
The ability to balance strategic leadership and active deal involvement
A data-driven focus on metrics and results
Willingness to travel as required
Business fluency in German and English; additional fluent languages are a plus
