About the role

  • Sales Intern supporting the Sales Acquisition team at GoMaterials. Focus on lead generation, enrichment, and validation within a growing B2B marketplace.

Responsibilities

  • Support the acquisition team by researching, enriching, validating, and qualifying leads to ensure the sales pipeline is accurate, complete, and sales-ready.
  • Maintain and update lead records in HubSpot by following defined workflows.
  • Conduct targeted lead research and assist with outbound sales efforts, including preparing lead lists.
  • Clean, organize, and analyze sales data using Excel to support reporting, tracking, and operational decision-making.
  • Assist with sales operations projects, process improvements, and technology enablement initiatives that increase efficiency.

Requirements

  • Attention to Detail & Organization: Demonstrates a high level of accuracy and organization when managing data, processes, and repetitive tasks.
  • Analytical Thinking: Comfortable working with data to identify patterns, validate information, and support informed decision-making.
  • Communication Skills: Communicates clearly and professionally, both written and verbally, when collaborating with team members and engaging with customers.
  • Excel Proficiency: Uses Excel confidently to clean, organize, analyze, and manipulate data (intermediate level).
  • CRM Experience: Has experience using CRM tools to manage customer and lead information, or shows strong aptitude and willingness to learn systems such as HubSpot.
