About the role

  • Head of HR Technology Systems leading strategy and delivery of Vanguard’s HR platforms for workforce technology optimization. Driving efficiency and productivity through innovative technology solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy, delivery, and evolution of Vanguard’s core HR platforms and workforce technology ecosystem
  • Drive measurable improvements in efficiency, experience, and workforce productivity
  • Oversee end-to-end platform delivery, including enhancements, releases, data flows, and user experience improvements
  • Drive adoption and optimization of HR technologies for better workforce planning and service delivery
  • Partner with HR, IT, data, risk, and global teams to ensure platform excellence
  • Ensure compliant and secure operation of all HR systems and vendor relationships
  • Lead and develop a diverse team of HR technology and product professionals

Requirements

  • 12+ years in HR technology, enterprise systems, or digital platforms
  • 5+ years leading complex portfolios or transformations
  • Deep experience with enterprise HR platforms (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow)
  • Strong stakeholder partnership, communication, and vendor management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MIS, HR Technology, or related field) preferred
  • Background in digital transformation, product management, enterprise architecture, or workflow automation a plus
