Responsibilities
The International Account Executive is responsible for driving new business acquisition and expanding UPS’s international services through strategic prospecting, relationship building, and solution-based selling.
Collaborates with Domestic Business Development and Customer Success teams, Customer Solutions, and other internal teams to develop account strategies, analyze market trends, and position UPS solutions competitively.
Identify and research potential clients through various channels, including artificial intelligence.
Generate new leads via cold calling, networking, and outreach methods.
Collaborate with marketing teams to leverage inbound leads and campaigns.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed targets.
Conduct compelling presentations to showcase UPS solutions and value propositions.
Negotiate terms and conditions with potential clients to secure new business.
Work closely with cross-functional teams (BD, CS, ASM, Brokerage, Pricing) to ensure seamless execution.
Monitor daily shipping activities to proactively identify issues and provide feedback.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
Proven track record in B2B sales and new business acquisition.
Strong understanding of logistics and international shipping processes.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Demonstrates broad understanding of business requirements and problem-solving.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel.
