About the role

  • Account Manager responsible for building partnerships and managing sales at Univar Brasil. Engaging with clients, analyzing needs, and delivering solutions in the chemicals distribution sector.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain long-term partnerships with customers, providing prompt responses to their needs and sharing useful information such as regulations, market trends, and pricing.
  • Manage accounts through sales forecasting and prioritization;
  • Prepare detailed sales plans by location and for individual accounts;
  • Identify customer needs and opportunities through research;
  • Develop solutions for customer needs and opportunities using financial analysis;
  • Conduct effective sales calls and visits, planning client contact in advance;
  • Negotiate effectively to achieve results, preparing in advance for potential customer objections and adhering to company pricing and strategies;
  • Demonstrate focused prospecting, using a variety of resources to locate and qualify opportunities, and follow up on sample development;

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, or related fields;
  • Experience in technical sales of raw materials for the HIC segment (industrial and household cleaning);
  • Willingness to travel and a valid driver's license.
