  • TRIO Office Manager role at University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville. Focused on administrative support, office management, and clerical functions for the TRIO program.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support, office management, and clerical functions for the TRIO Student Support Services grant program.
  • Researches and analyzes data pertinent to work programs and/or agency/institution goals and objectives and prepares reports explaining findings and recommendations.
  • Assists in developing or revising policies, procedures, and directives based on research findings; submits to supervisor for approval.
  • Compiles financial information used by supervisor to formulate budget proposals and monitor expenditures.
  • Reviews and prepares correspondence relating to agency/institution programs and provides information and assistance to interested parties.
  • Maintains records, appointment calendar, and prioritizes incoming correspondence.
  • Assist TRIO Staff with travel arrangements for conferences and student travel, and with setting up workshops as needed.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or higher
  • Experience managing budgets, office management procedures, and resources.
  • Evidence of commitment to student success in a community college or similar setting.
  • At least 2 years of experience or formal training in secretarial or office management work.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
