About the role

  • Human Resources Intern providing administrative support to HR team and managing various HR functions. Engaging in recruitment, record keeping, and fostering employee engagement through HR projects.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the HR Team for HR projects and initiatives
  • Maintain and update the HR calendar
  • Provide day-to-day administration support using the HRMS (Ceridian Dayforce), including data entry and reporting
  • Organize and maintain the HR SharePoint site (employee files)
  • File management
  • Other HR administration duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a post-secondary degree program
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Strong listening skills
  • Must possess a strong customer service and team player orientation
  • Exceptional telephone manner
  • Strong Computer skills (MS Office)
  • Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated interest in and commitment to continuous learning
