Responsibilities
Serve as the Senior Payroll Specialist responsible for processing and reporting payroll for France
Maintain a strong understanding of French payroll regulations, including various types of statutory leave
Transfer employee data from the HR system of record to the payroll system
Collaborate with HR and HR Shared Services to streamline payroll processes
Process employee Time and Attendance data from the Time and Labour system
Execute payroll close procedures, including reconciling payroll reports
Contribute to promoting standardised processes and maintaining internal controls
Submit monthly reports and declarations as required by French authorities
Provide ad hoc statistical data to authorities as needed
Support payroll tax audits and ensure timely resolution of employee queries
Perform additional tasks as required, including supporting other EMEA payrolls within the team
Requirements
Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Experience working with a large ERP system and/or payroll provider
Proven experience in French payroll
Fluency in French (written and spoken)
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
Handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion
Strong collaborator with communication, organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
