About the role

  • Business Development Manager responsible for leading a BDR team at Sycurio, focusing on demand generation and sales opportunities. Managing outbound strategies and collaborating with marketing and sales teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop your BDR team to achieve and surpass sales targets.
  • Provide ongoing training, coaching, and feedback to ensure your team's success and professional growth.
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing and Sales teams to align strategies and drive cohesive efforts.
  • Coordinate with Marketing and the Sales team to ensure all activities are properly tracked and monitored in the CRM.
  • Design and execute an outbound strategy to generate pipeline with midmarket and enterprise accounts
  • Internalize product messaging and benefits to craft engaging communications with prospects, including A/B testing strategies
  • Monitor and report on outbound strategies; Convert as many leads as possible into qualified sales opportunities
  • Provide regular updates on sales performance, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Document strategic and tactical assets as shared resources for the team.
  • Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding new potential sales outlets
  • Follow-up on inbound marketing leads to keep them engaged through the sales process
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives for next steps
  • Identify best practices to refine the company’s lead generation playbook
  • Provide learnings on your approach to modify and improve for BD team
  • Consistently hit / exceed monthly agreed-upon individual and team goals and objectives

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a management role, preferably overseeing a BDR or sales team
  • Strong strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Technically literate with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Self-motivated and driven individual with high energy and enthusiasm
  • Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
  • 2-4 years of BD/Sales experience in outbound calls and booking meetings
  • Proven success prospecting, building a pipeline, moving opportunities through the sales cycle, with a track record of exceeding targets
  • Familiarity with outbound sales tools, such as Outreach.io, HubSpot, or Salesloft, proficiency in HubSpot is a bonus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team player & self-motivated problem solver
  • Passion to excel in sales
