About the role

  • Senior Business Development Manager driving sales strategy for Solutions products at Swiss Re. Building disciplined pipelines and owning revenue targets to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver fee-based income targets aligned to the annual and rolling three-year business plan
  • Own your revenue target and build a clear plan to achieve it
  • Help shape and execute the go-to-market and sales strategy for assigned Solutions products
  • Build and manage a disciplined pipeline of leads and opportunities, from prospecting through onboarding and delivery
  • Lead cross-functional teams to progress and close opportunities successfully
  • Drive end-to-end client engagement, including developing and delivering high-quality pitch materials
  • Partner with Marketing and Product Development to create and deliver impactful marketing activity to promote Solutions

Requirements

  • 10+ years’ relevant sales and business development experience within financial services, technology, or professional services
  • Strong understanding of Life & Health (L&H) insurance technology and risk management
  • Prior experience working with a life insurer is advantageous
  • Demonstrated capability in go-to-market strategy and B2B marketing
  • Effective relationship builder with strong networking, collaboration, and influencing skills
  • Experience holding commercial account or market responsibility in B2B client service and/or a solutions, technology, or platform-oriented business
