About the role

  • Associate Business Development Manager supporting Convera’s growth by engaging in FX and global payment solutions. Collaborating with senior sales leaders to identify new opportunities and improve client experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in identifying and qualifying new business opportunities within assigned industries or territories.
  • Support senior BDMs in developing tailored FX and global payment solutions for potential clients.
  • Contribute to the execution of sales strategies to meet or exceed annual revenue and acquisition targets.
  • Prepare pitch materials, proposals, pricing analyses, and product overviews for client meetings.
  • Participate in initial client conversations to understand international payment workflows and FX risk exposure.
  • Coordinate with onboarding, compliance, and operational teams to ensure seamless new-client setup.
  • Provide ongoing support to existing clients to optimize platform usage and improve transaction throughput.
  • Build foundational knowledge of foreign exchange markets, currency products, and hedging tools offered by Convera.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and client needs to support effective positioning.
  • Communicate updates on market movements or product enhancements to internal stakeholders and prospects.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and client insights within CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Analyze client transaction data to identify potential revenue opportunities and efficiency improvements.
  • Support the creation of internal reporting, sales dashboards, and forecasting documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, financial services, fintech, or client‑facing roles (preferred but not required).
  • Strong interest in foreign exchange, global payments, and financial technology.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Comfortable working with data and technology platforms; experience with Salesforce is a plus.
