About the role

  • Business Developer at NOVAE focused on growth and strategy in multi-sector offerings. Engaging with clients and developing new business opportunities in industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive the business development strategy
  • Define a multi-sector strategy based on our existing offerings (Technical Assistance & Training)
  • Build and track an action plan aligned with the PIC (Industrial and Commercial Plan)
  • Prospect new clients and markets
  • Attend trade shows, conferences and events to strengthen our field presence
  • Stay attuned to the market and our clients to identify new needs
  • Collaborate with internal teams to assess the feasibility of new offerings
  • Monitor business plans and draft commercial proposals
  • Negotiate contracts in accordance with defined KPIs
  • Launch projects and lead PRMs (Project Review Meetings) at client sites
  • Liaise with Operations Management for major projects
  • Monitor invoicing and prepare regular reports

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field (minimum)
  • At least 5 years' experience in commercial/business development, ideally in demanding industrial sectors such as defense, aerospace, naval, rail, nuclear or energy
  • Strong negotiation and prospecting skills
  • Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel (VBA appreciated)
  • Good understanding of industrial/technical environments
  • Knowledge of the defense sector is a plus
