About the role
- Instructional Designer creating training content and involved in course development phases for a leader in equipment rental services. Engages with subject matter experts while adhering to project timelines.
Responsibilities
- Create training content utilizing an understanding of curriculum design and instructional practices.
- Involved in all phases of course development including determining the best learning methodology, writing the content design.
- Produce media, develop materials, and test course functionality in the LMS.
- Maintain relationships with subject matter experts.
- Provide team support, such as engaging in internal course reviews for peers.
- Adhere to project timelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design or similar field or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of instructional design experience in a corporate environment.
- 2 years’ experience using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline or Rise
- Experience with Adobe Creative products and Vyond preferred
- Knowledge of Adult learning principles
- Experience with ADDIE, SAM, or other rapid design methodologies
- Designing learning in multiple modalities (ILT, virtual ILT, eLearning, job aids, etc.)
