Responsibilities
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for steel mills across the Midwest territory.
Conduct site visits to hot end environments to identify equipment wear, campaign life extensions, and safety improvement opportunities.
Manage the full sales lifecycle, from identifying requirements to coordinating with internal fabrication and engineering teams.
Stay embedded in the steel and power generation sectors to anticipate large-scale capital equipment replacement cycles.
Requirements
5+ Years Industrial/Steel Sales
Significant experience in Blast Furnace operations or Hot End steel mill environments (working in areas where steel is molten or being formed) is highly preferred.
Mechanical Aptitude: You must be mechanically inclined. While an engineering degree is not required, you must be able to speak the language of a machine shop and a heavy industrial plant.
Proven success in industrial B2B sales. We are looking for a professional who prioritizes building long-term trust over short-term closings.
Must be based within the Great Lakes industrial corridor (Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, or Illinois).
