Responsibilities
Serving as the primary contact in addressing day-to-day HR related issues such as performance management, benefits questions, attendance, payroll, and other workplace concerns
Advise supervisors and managers on performance management, policy interpretation, and consistent application of HR practices
Support and participate in disciplinary meetings, written coachings, completing workplace investigations, as appropriate and termination processes
Foster a positive employee relations climate and promote respectful workplace practices
Partner with hiring managers to manage full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried positions
Lead new hire onboarding and orientation, ensuring a smooth and compliant onboarding experience
Assist with administration and interpretation of company policies and procedures
Maintain strong understanding of the changing landscape within the labor market, employment law, and other HR functional disciplines
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive HR Generalist experience.
Prior experience in a manufacturing or plant environment.
Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Experience handling employee relations issues and investigations.
Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
