About the role

  • Salesforce Administrator managing day-to-day configurations and improvements for S&P Global Mobility's CRM system. Supporting user needs and ensuring data quality across various departments.

Responsibilities

  • Handle all basic administrative functions including user maintenance, profiles, roles, and security settings.
  • Build and maintain simple custom objects, fields, page layouts, and record types.
  • Manage the health of the platform by performing regular system audits and preparing for Salesforce seasonal releases in collaboration with the Governance team.
  • Design, build, and troubleshoot simple business processes using Salesforce Flow in collaboration with key stakeholders within the Commercial platforms team.
  • Implement validation rules to ensure data integrity and streamline user input.
  • Audit existing automations to ensure they are optimized and do not conflict with new requirements.
  • Act as the internal "help desk" for all Salesforce-related questions and issues.
  • Bulk Upload data on demand.
  • Create and maintain training materials (guides, or wikis) for end-users.
  • Create and maintain high-level dashboards and reports for various departments (Sales, Marketing, Finance).
  • Perform regular data cleansing activities, including deduplication and mass data uploads using Data Loader.
  • Assist in the integration of third-party apps from the AppExchange to extend platform functionality.

Requirements

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM-201).
  • 5 years of experience in a dedicated Salesforce Administrator role.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce Flow, Validation Rules, and Formula fields.
  • Experience with Data Loader and an understanding of relational database concepts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • A proactive attitude toward learning new features and staying current with Salesforce ecosystem trends along with experience in juggling multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrates strong curiosity and comfort experimenting with AI tools to work smarter—using them to draft and refine communications, create/maintain SOPs and system documentation, speed up requirements clarification, and identify automation opportunities across Salesforce processes (while applying sound judgment around data privacy and accuracy).
