Salesforce Administrator enhancing IDEXX's enterprise CRM capabilities through system maintenance and user support. Collaborating in a hybrid environment with a focus on software solutions tailored to business needs.
Responsibilities
Perform Salesforce administrator functions including maintenance/updates, system backups, security, roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows, custom reports, dashboards and groups.
Develop, implement, and support enterprise custom and packaged applications and other internal software programs used by end users in the organization.
Perform a variety of systems related analytical activities to support application functionality, availability and performance.
Analyze, understand, and translate business needs into technical configurations that administrators and developers can use as guidelines for configuration and/or programming work.
Configure Salesforce to satisfy business requirements.
Provide daily system/application administration.
Maintain system and application backup/recovery and patching.
Manage access and security of the systems and applications.
Monitor and proactively support system/application capacity planning and stability.
Assess technical requirements of requests and scope for projects and communicate results to the business clients, project teams, and IT counterparts.
Requirements
5 to 7+ years of experience in performing Salesforce administrator functions and working with Salesforce build tools (e.g. Salesforce DX, Github, Github Actions etc.)
Salesforce configuration experience.
Experience with Sales Cloud CPQ and Subscription Management is a plus.
Service Cloud and Experience Cloud is a plus.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to translate technical subject matter to non-technical audiences.
Excellent problem-solving skills as well as exceptional customer service as well as business relationship-building skills required.
Ability to work independently and within teams.
