About the role

  • Sales Development Representative building lead pipeline for a fast-growing HR tech startup. Collaborating with founders and the growth team to generate high-quality leads.

Responsibilities

  • You will take on responsibility from day one and make a real impact
  • You will work closely with the founders and the entire Sparrks Growth team
  • Your role will be clearly focused on outbound phone outreach and the structured development of your own lead pipeline
  • You identify attractive target companies and relevant contacts (especially HR, People & Culture, and leadership)
  • You proactively conduct initial phone outreach and hold persuasive, peer-level conversations
  • You supplement your outreach with email (LinkedIn plays a minor role for us)
  • You qualify leads and independently manage your pipeline – from first contact to scheduling meetings
  • You arrange high-quality meetings for our sales team, laying the foundation for new customer relationships
  • You work data-driven in modern tools (e.g., HubSpot & dialing tools) to continuously optimize reachability and conversion rates
  • You actively contribute to the development of our outbound strategies

Requirements

  • You enjoy telephone outreach — and want to become excellent at it
  • You have initial experience in sales, recruiting, or customer-facing roles (e.g., internship, working student, junior position)
  • You are a good listener, able to build trust quickly, and argue your points clearly
  • You have a good sense for language, timing, and handling objections
  • You work in a structured way, follow through, and take responsibility for your pipeline
  • You have an interest in HR, leadership, and personal development
  • You are a team player and want to continuously improve
  • You speak German at native level
