About the role

  • OpEx (Operational Excellence) Performance Improvement Coordinator applying Six Sigma methodologies at Hinkley Point C project. Seeking to embed continuous improvement initiatives in a complex construction environment.

Responsibilities

  • Apply Six Sigma principles to support the delivery and adoption of DMAIC project management.
  • Coach teams to adopt data-driven problem-solving approaches.
  • Identify and prioritise process improvement opportunities.
  • Plan, facilitate, and drive Six Sigma improvement projects through to completion.
  • Develop clear, agreed, and well-communicated improvement implementation plans.
  • Act as a visible advocate for Six Sigma adoption across the project.
  • Challenge existing practices and demonstrate a willingness to question the status quo.

Requirements

  • Six Sigma qualification (Certified Green Belt preferred)
  • Proven experience in continuous improvement environments.
  • Strong experience in process mapping and analysis.
  • Competence in Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Significant experience using the Microsoft Office toolset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Coaching and mentoring experience.
  • Strong problem-solving capability.
  • Collaborative approach with strong networking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Experience within construction or major infrastructure projects is advantageous.
