About the role

  • Lead operational logistics for one or more client projects, managing teams across warehousing and customer service. Ensure service levels and KPIs, implement new projects and drive continuous process and technology improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Independently responsible for the operational logistics management of one or more client projects
  • Line and functional management of up to approximately 70 operational and commercial employees (across multiple levels) in warehousing and customer service functions
  • Workforce planning, training and personnel development within your area of responsibility
  • Ensuring compliance with company-wide QSHE standards (Quality, Safety, Health, Environment) and preparing work and operating instructions
  • Financial and performance responsibility for the assigned customer areas
  • Ensuring the agreed service levels with customers and internal KPIs are met
  • Management of Sigma reporting
  • Implementation of new customer projects and development of existing customer accounts
  • Planning and conducting business review meetings
  • Continuous, targeted optimization of processes and technologies within your area of responsibility
  • Pricing and negotiation of service proposals
  • Reporting to branch/site management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a focus on Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or Business Administration
  • Alternatively, relevant vocational training with many years of experience in a similar role at a logistics service provider
  • Deep understanding of warehouse operations and processes, warehouse management systems and warehouse equipment
  • IT affinity and enthusiasm for new technologies
  • Industry knowledge, ideally from one or more of the following market segments: Consumer Goods, E‑Commerce, Retail/Wholesale, Automotive, Healthcare, Industrial
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Goal-oriented with customer- and solution-focused thinking and acting
  • Very good German and English skills
  • Turkish language skills, written and spoken, are an advantage
  • Confident user of MS Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Power Platform including Power BI
  • Ideally Lean Management or Six Sigma certification
