Operations Technician supporting Service Center operations and meeting production and shipping goals at Tosca. Maintaining records and managing shipping processes for efficient workflows.
Responsibilities
Support the Service Center leadership team to ensure smooth daily operations and help meet production and shipping goals.
Maintain accurate shift records, including production, shipping, receiving, quality, and food safety documentation.
Manage shipping processes, including matching PO numbers to orders and working directly with drivers.
Create and confirm Bills of Lading (BOLs) and ensure proper transportation paperwork is completed and entered into Tosca’s shipping system.
Coordinate daily pickup and delivery schedules with Customer Service and transportation partners.
Communicate special load requirements and outbound shipping needs with supervisors.
Report inventory concerns to Customer Service and Transportation teams.
Support trailer loading and unloading; operate forklift (certification required).
Maintain electronic and hard-copy files and create documents using Microsoft Office.
Coordinate office-related needs, including supplies, keys, parking, and team member resources.
Assist with general Service Center support, including mail, deliveries, and event coordination.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Support Tosca’s Food Safety Management System and uphold safety standards at all times.
Requirements
1–3 years of experience in a plant, warehouse, or office operations environment.
Working knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
Comfort working with confidential information.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to lift 5–15 lbs.
Willingness to work occasional overtime based on business needs.
