About the role

  • Account Director leading strategic relationships with UK theatre clients at SINE Digital. Driving client partnership and commercial performance in a hybrid role.

Responsibilities

  • Own senior relationships with key UK theatre and venue clients, acting as a trusted strategic partner
  • Lead high-quality client communication across weekly delivery, strategic planning sessions, QBRs, and senior stakeholder touch-points
  • Translate client objectives into tailored, multi-channel strategies and solutions
  • Track client satisfaction, proactively identifying risks and ensuring consistent service delivery
  • Oversee contractual and commercial agreements, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Represent SINE at client meetings and key industry events, strengthening partnerships beyond day-to-day delivery.
  • Manage revenue forecasting and commercial performance across the UK Theatre client portfolio
  • Identify immediate opportunities for account expansion and cross-service collaboration alongside specialist teams
  • Partner with Business Development team and senior leadership to support relevant pitch activity and sector growth
  • Monitor fee income and profitability, contributing to wider financial and resource planning discussions
  • Share market and sector insights that strengthen SINE’s positioning within UK theatre and live entertainment
  • Lead strategic briefing across internal channel teams, ensuring clear objectives, timelines, and integrated delivery
  • Coordinate with Paid Media teams and external partners to execute effective, efficient campaigns
  • Collaborate across SEO, CRM, Technology, and Data teams to develop innovative solutions beyond paid media
  • Oversee media planning, budget management, reporting accuracy, invoicing, and billing processes
  • Champion best practice in testing, optimisation, and applied learnings across accounts
  • Translate analytics and insights into actionable recommendations for clients.
  • Lead by example as the senior representative of the UK Theatre client team, inspiring accountability and excellence
  • Line manage, mentor, and develop Account Managers, supporting progression in client leadership and strategic thinking
  • Foster a positive, inclusive team environment that values innovation, collaboration, and growth
  • Champion cross-functional working across Client Services, Media, Creative, Data, and Operations
  • Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing, training, and sector thought leadership.
  • Maintain and develop an advanced understanding of the industries you and SINE work with, including key players and external agencies
  • Produce regular industry insights and client case studies to further educate the team and clients on industry learnings, insights and benchmarks
  • Embody a passion for the sectors in which SINE operates, with a professional curiosity and knowledge of new and emerging businesses and producing talent
  • Represent SINE at various industry conferences and events, building the company’s presence and network
  • Participate in internal training sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives to foster team expertise.

Requirements

  • Significant experience leading senior client relationships within theatre, live entertainment, or cultural organisations
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-channel campaigns and senior client relationships
  • Proven expertise in digital marketing strategy, campaign management, and working across paid media platforms, channels, and ad formats.
  • Prior experience in live entertainment / performing arts / theatre marketing is highly preferred
  • Highly strategic approach to full-funnel campaign planning and management, with an appreciation for the broader media mix
  • Experience in pitching, proposal development, and supporting account growth
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to financial planning and profitability tracking
  • Demonstrated ability to translate client objectives into actionable strategies.
  • Strong strategic and analytical planning skills, with a track record of successful problem-solving
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Confidence in communicating with a broad range of key stakeholders, anticipating client needs and managing client relationships
  • Ability to influence and consult with stakeholders to ensure best outcomes on behalf of SINE and our clients
  • Collaborative and team-oriented approach, with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrable ability to work effectively with teams across different time zones and regions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate resources effectively
  • A calm, measured and mature approach to challenging situations presented by team members, clients or other stakeholders
  • Creative problem-solver with a proactive mindset, adept at navigating change and ambiguity.
  • Commercially savvy mindset, with experience monitoring client fee income and profitability
  • Strong planning and organisation skills with the ability to re-prioritise as required, work with extreme accuracy and meet targets and deadlines.
  • Proficient knowledge of Google Drive and/or Microsoft Office Applications, especially Sheets/Excel and Google Slides/PowerPoint.
