About the role

  • Front Office Manager ensuring excellent guest experiences at a conference hotel with 225 rooms. Leading a team to enhance guest relationships and operational success.

Responsibilities

  • Delight guests and strengthen the team
  • Guest care and retention
  • Team leadership: build trust and establish clear guidelines
  • Staff scheduling and deployment
  • Foster and maintain long-term guest relationships
  • Upselling: develop creative concepts and strategies
  • Manage inventory and process orders
  • Continuously maintain processes and checklists
  • Project work within cross-property project circles

Requirements

  • Several years of experience as a (Assistant) Front Office Manager or Head of Reception
  • Understanding of the finer points of the area — from smooth operations to outstanding guest service
  • Experience leading larger teams
  • Empathetic yet decisive
  • Strong communication skills: friendly and assertive
  • Strong organizational skills in complex situations
  • Conflict management skills
  • Technical skills & systems: hotel software (Sihot preferred) and reservation systems
  • Very good German language skills (C1) and good English skills (at least B2)
