About the role

  • Area Sales Manager focusing on supporting service-related activities for Scania. Collaborating with branches in Christchurch and Wellington to ensure customer loyalty and reach commercial targets.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with branches to develop, drive & support activities to sell & produce services as well as ensuring customer loyalty
  • Implementing, providing guidance & supporting branches in working with Dedicated Customer Service standards
  • Implementing & managing Scania services applications/programs to assist with the development of workshop & customer support
  • Compiling & analysing financial & performance reports to develop strategies together with branches
  • Coaching, motivating & encouraging accountability in service teams to reach targets
  • Contributing in improvement activities based on a standardised working method

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in heavy vehicle/automotive retail service
  • Understanding of service/maintenance requirements for heavy vehicles
  • Familiar in the use of OEM applications
  • Experience in working with process and change management
  • A current Drivers Licence
