About the role

  • Junior Fixed Income Sales contributing to revenue growth of Debt and Credit desk at Kepler Cheuvreux. Ensuring coverage of institutional investors and operational rigor within the desk.

Responsibilities

  • Under the supervision of the Senior Salesperson, the Junior Fixed Income Sales actively contributes to the revenue growth of the Debt and Credit desk by ensuring daily coverage of a portfolio of institutional investors (Asset Managers, Private Banks, Hedge Funds).
  • The Junior Fixed Income Sales is responsible for ensuring seamless execution flows, the quality of information transmitted to clients, and the operational rigor of the desk.
  • Key Responsibilities: Market Monitoring and Intelligence: maintain daily monitoring of Fixed Income markets (rates, credit, primary/secondary), synthesize macro and micro news, and produce market updates for clients and the team.
  • Business Development and Client Relationship Management: participate in identifying new clients (institutional, family offices, corporate treasuries), enrich the CRM database, and ensure regular follow-up with existing clients.
  • Commercial Support and Execution: assist senior teams in preparing investment proposals, highlighting market opportunities, and coordinating the sales process.
  • Investment Idea Generation: actively contribute to identifying opportunities within the bond markets and propose ideas aligned with market conditions and client needs.
  • Development of Sales Tools and Materials: participate in creating differentiating materials (market updates, trade ideas, presentations) and improving market monitoring and commercial performance tools.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a Top-Tier Business or Engineering School or a specialized Master’s degree in Capital Markets.
  • Mandatory first significant experience (end-of-studies internship, gap year, or first job) in a Front Office environment on a Fixed Income desk (Sales, Trading, or Credit Research).
  • Proficiency in Bloomberg terminals (functions: YAS, DES, CRPR, DDIS, CAST, CDSW, ALLQ, FIT).
  • Fluent English is essential (daily working language); fluent French for domestic clientele.
  • AMF Certification required (or the ability to obtain it within 6 months).
  • Ability to work under extreme pressure and excellent stress management skills.
  • Absolute rigor and meticulous attention to detail (operational risk management).
  • Strong negotiation skills and high emotional intelligence.
  • Team spirit and proactivity in solving complex problems.
