Responsibilities
Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations.
Conduct exit interviews, analyze data and make recommendations for corrective action and continuous improvement.
Respond to employee relation issues such as employee complaints and investigations.
Represent the company for any unemployment claims.
Facilitate and conduct training, including new hire orientation.
Maintain records of employee attendance and assist with payroll duties.
Process check requests, deposits, loan request forms, and cash advance forms.
Interview and screen job applicants to fill job openings.
Coach, counsel and guide managers before executing employee disciplinary actions.
Prepare or maintain employment records using human resources management system software.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or a related field or the equivalent years of experience preferred.
At least 3 years of proven experience as an entry-level HR recruiter.
At least 2 years of experience as an HR Specialist or a junior role.
PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
ADP Workforce Now experience preferred.
Bilingual in Spanish required.
