About the role

  • As Head of Marketing and Sales, lead global order intake and profitability for Saab's Defence unit. Shape strategies and negotiate complex contracts in a technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Full responsibility for order intake, ensuring profitability and gross margin levels that support long-term financial targets.
  • Consolidate and drive the global order intake plan, including long-range forecasting and strategic pipeline development.
  • Negotiate and close large, complex international contracts with governments, armed forces, and strategic partners.
  • Drive the development of new business models, including support contracts, services, and capability-based offerings.
  • Collaborate closely with Strategy, Portfolio Management, Global Business Development, and Operational Countries to ensure alignment and execution excellence.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in senior commercial leadership roles (CSO, CxO or equivalent) in an international, technology-driven organisation
  • Proven track record of strategy development and execution
  • Experience from negotiating large, complex international contracts preferably within the defence industry or other process driven sales
  • Master of Science, Engineering degree, MBA or other relevant commercial education
  • Fluent in written and spoken English. Swedish proficiency is an advantage.
