About the role

  • Customer Service Representative managing client accounts in the Minerals sector across Southern Europe, providing support to Sales Managers and ensuring high customer service standards.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of client accounts within the Minerals sector, primarily across Southern Europe.
  • Acting as a key support to our Sales Managers based in Italy.
  • Ensuring a high level of customer service by handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and coordinating closely with internal teams such as Sales and Logistics.
  • Collecting and validating data, preparing and analyzing reports, and proactively communicating opportunities for improvement.
  • Processing purchase orders from Europe, managing customer billing and generating invoices, credit and debit memos.
  • Collaborating closely with Supply Chain functions to manage the order book and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
  • Monitoring order follow-ups and coordinating material planning to meet customer demand and forecasts.
  • Analyzing data to create accurate demand plans and utilizing KPIs to drive performance improvements aligned with company objectives.
  • Ensuring timely container and truck pick-ups and deliveries, address payment-related issues, and act as a central point of contact for logistics providers and warehouse partners.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics and Transportation, International Relations or Communication
  • Experience with data entry, report generation, and data analysis
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Few years of experience in a Customer Service Representative role, preferably within a manufacturing environment
  • Languages: Italian – Fluent; English - Fluent
  • Nice to have : Any additional languages are considered an asset
