Responsibilities
Under direction of the Inside Sales Team Leader, generating, growing and maximizing World Courier’s business opportunities and sales.
Develop new and sustainable business within designated portfolio areas to ensure achievement of individual key performance indicators.
Maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for partnership growth.
Actively engage with new and existing business opportunities, delivering solutions.
Significant experience in the freight forwarding or science/laboratory industry.
High level of computer literacy; sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
Prior experience in a Sales role preferred.
Ability to work autonomously and self-direct work activities.
Excellent relationship building skills with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Great phone manner and proactive attitude towards role.
Sound level of numeracy and demonstrated attention to detail.
Strong time management and organisational skills.
Demonstrated ability to work flexibly within tight time schedules and in accordance with variable workload demands.
