Responsibilities
Leading confidential and complex investigations into allegations of misconduct and/or corrupt conduct, including matters with significant organisational impact
Collecting and analysing evidence through interviews, statements, CCTV footage, records, and other documentation
Producing high-quality, detailed investigation reports with clear findings and recommendations
Advising senior leaders and stakeholders on appropriate management actions, including performance and disciplinary processes
Collaborating with Queensland Rail’s Industrial Relations on matters that progress to formal legal proceedings
Delivering ethics-related training and capability-building sessions across the business
Providing mentoring and coaching to team members to uplift team capability and ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes
Requirements
Demonstrated experience in leading complex workplace investigations and disciplinary processes
Proven ability to provide high-level strategic advice to senior stakeholders
Strong understanding of QLD Crime and Corruption Commission (CCC) obligations
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distil complex information clearly and concisely
Ability to manage multiple cases in a time constrained manner whilst maintaining quality
A collaborative mindset and a passion for mentoring and developing others
