About the role

  • Inside Sales / Estimator calculating offers for electrical and software-based projects. Responsible for cost estimation, procurement collaboration, and market trend analysis in a sales context.

Responsibilities

  • You calculate quotations for electrical and software-based projects and ensure that all costs and requirements are accounted for.
  • You review tenders and customer inquiries to assess technical feasibility, identify risks and evaluate project viability.
  • You determine material, personnel and subcontractor costs and compare planned vs. actual figures.
  • You work closely with purchasing, logistics and suppliers—obtaining prices, coordinating schedules and ensuring all information is available on time.
  • You support sales management by identifying market trends, monitoring competitors and spotting new opportunities.
  • You provide key information for reporting so the Area Sales Manager has clear and up-to-date KPIs and analyses.
  • You actively contribute to business development by sharing your expertise and collaborating closely with the sales team.
  • You maintain all relevant data in the CRM so that leads, quotations and project information remain current and transparent at all times.

Requirements

  • Completed technical training, e.g., as an electronics technician (m/f/d) or IT specialist (m/f/d), ideally with further qualification as a technical business administrator / business economist or master craftsman (m/f/d).
  • Several years of professional experience in inside sales or sales support.
  • Very good MS Office skills and experience using CRM systems; experience working with GAEB files is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of VOB is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a structured working style.
  • Business-fluent German and English.
  • Very good communication skills.
