About the role

  • Sales Director managing country P&L for Perrigo, delivering financial growth targets and overseeing sales strategy. Leading retailer-facing sales teams in a large Consumer Health environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the Market Lead deliver the country P&L, including any growth targets, across Pharmacy, Centralised Key Accounts and eCommerce.
  • Manages a financially significant, complex Sales portfolio.
  • Accountable for delivering local financial growth targets and the P&L to Gross Margin, by channel.
  • Delivers the annual, quarterly & monthly business cycle requirements.
  • Collaborates with Cluster & Central teams to ensure consistency in achieving the One Perrigo vision.
  • Oversees best in class annual plans/JBPs & longer term strategic planning with key customers.
  • Drives Perfect Store DVRP requirements (Distribution/Visibility/Recommendation/Promotions) & delivers profitable market share expansion.
  • Leadership & coaching of retailer facing Sales teams to ensure they achieve agreed SMART objectives.

Requirements

  • Typically 10 years+ experience in a large Consumer Health environment
  • Sales experience essential, with broader commercial function experience an advantage (e.g. Strategy, Category Management or Marketing)
  • Deep expertise in the Pharma and OTC market, with a strong understanding of category dynamics, regulatory frameworks, channel behaviors, and customer landscape within consumer health.
  • Ideally have worked with or for market leading manufacturers within the country
  • Proven leadership & commercial capabilities
  • Proven track record in overcoming business challenges
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Open, constructive mindset with an agile attitude
