About the role

  • Head of Sales for Meliá Hotels responsible for managing and developing accounts in China. Achieving sales targets and fostering client relationships in the hospitality sector.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for achieving the budget of the hotels for the segment
  • Attract, develop, and retain accounts
  • Manage local accounts and promote hotels
  • Prepare and complete Corporate RFPs, Tour Operator Contracts, MICE Agreements
  • Attend assigned events and sales actions

Requirements

  • Degree in Tourism, Hospitality or similar
  • Chinese language and advanced English
  • A third language would be an asset
  • 5 years of experience in a similar position
  • Knowledge of PMS Opera Cloud and Focus tools
  • Ability to communicate and negotiate
