About the role

  • Technical Sales Specialist responsible for promoting and selling Liebherr equipment in Indonesia. Requires strong technical skills and market understanding to drive sales success.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for mobile and crawler cranes in Indonesia
  • Actively source and qualify leads from: New construction projects, Infrastructure developments, Oil & gas, mining, and industrial sectors
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers, project owners, and contractors, equipment rental companies
  • Support the sales team by providing: Market intelligence, Technical consultation, Early-stage project insights
  • Monitor project pipelines and track upcoming crane demand
  • Promote and expand aftersales services including: Maintenance contracts, Spare parts sales, Field service and repairs
  • Identify opportunities within existing customer base to increase service revenue
  • Develop and implement aftersales strategies to improve customer retention and repeat business
  • Achieve assigned aftersales revenue and sales targets
  • Prepare and present technical proposals and commercial quotations for: Aftersales services, Service agreements, Technical upgrades
  • Provide technical consultation to customers on crane operation, maintenance, and lifecycle optimization
  • Conduct site visits to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Work closely with service manager and technical teams to ensure accurate and competitive proposals
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers across Indonesia
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers by providing: Technical expertise, Prompt support, Commercial solutions
  • Handle customer feedback, complaints, and technical issues in coordination with internal Teams
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and engagement
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
  • Identify growth opportunities in both new equipment and aftersales segments
  • Provide regular feedback to management on: Market conditions, Customer needs, Competitive landscape
  • Support development of business strategies for Indonesia market expansion
  • Ensure all activities comply with company HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards
  • Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and customer records
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and ethical standards

Requirements

  • Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in the heavy equipment industry, fresh graduate are welcome to apply
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in: Heavy equipment sales or Technical service with commercial exposure
  • Proficiency in English and Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and reporting tools
  • Basic knowledge of mobile and crawler cranes and their applications
  • Understanding of heavy equipment lifecycle, maintenance, and service requirements
  • Proven ability in both sales development and technical solution selling
  • Ability to prepare technical-commercial proposals and negotiate with customers
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-focused with strong relationship-building ability
  • Self-driven and able to work independently in a dynamic market environment
  • Strong analytical and market awareness capability
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Indonesia
