Assistant Manager/Manager in Business Development for BASF responsible for BCS growth across ASEAN, South Asia & ANZ. Focus on developing market, managing distributors and customer engagement.
Responsibilities
Drive BCS business in ASEAN, South Asia, Australia & New Zealand
Focused on developing the market with local team and distributors: expand customer portfolio and enhance market penetration
Develop, lead, and being accountable for BCS business growth through distributor management and customers engagement
Formulate customer ‑ specific or sub ‑ regional pitches that integrate scientific/technical insights with compelling marketing communication
Work closely with BASF local sales & mkt organization & distribution acting as BCS “expert”
Contribute to marketing initiatives and technical support in alignment with BCS global business management and local sales strategies
Gather market needs, trends and market intelligence related to Bioactives
Implement suitable training and expertise development measures for internal colleagues / distributors / customers in assigned sub-regions
Build up and manage assigned sub-regions local CSP pipeline, orchestrating the activities of the Global R&D towards the successful launch of CSP projects.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or Master Degree in Science and/or Business Administration or related discipline
Minimum 5 years’ relevant working experience, preferably in a technical service and/or marketing field
Excellent verbal and written English communication, proficiency in Thai or Bahasa Indonesia is a plus
Good understanding of care chemicals especially BCS product portfolio and related applications
Strong business acumen
Works independently with strong ownership and minimal supervision
Experienced in value-based selling.
